Jeroen van Oort is an experienced disputes lawyer with a focus on complex Dutch proceedings and interim relief. He has extensive experience with attachment proceedings, including both the imposition and lifting of pre-judgment attachments. Jeroen regularly advises clients on procedural strategy in high-stakes disputes.
Jeroen acts for a broad range of international clients and has particular experience in the shipbuilding and maritime industry, where commercial, technical and cross-border aspects often intersect.
Jeroen is valued for quickly identifying the core of a dispute, his pragmatic and results-oriented approach, and clear, responsive communication.
Before joining 4DArbitration, Jeroen worked at another leading independent Dutch law firm.
Jeroen is admitted to the Dutch Bar and is a member of the Association of Young Litigators. He obtained his Master’s degree in Corporate Law from Leiden University. He recently completed, with honors, the post-academic national and international contracting law specialisation at the Grotius Academy.
