Alexander Rogers

Alexander is Counsel and Head of the firm’s Asia-Pacific office.

A Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (UK), Alexander specialises in complex international disputes with a sub-specialty in the energy sector. He has particular expertise in arguing difficult, high-value arbitrations in multiple concurrent international and domestic courts and tribunals, including parallel arbitration, annulment and enforcement proceedings.

Alexander was previously part of the international litigation practice of a top international law firm. Prior to that he was part of Trial Chamber I of the UN Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia hearing the case against former Bosnian-Serb General Ratko Mladić. He was also Legal Counsel in one of the largest European energy transport companies and has previously worked in the intelligence, insurance and accounting industries. He founded a legal tech company applying open-source intelligence solutions to international disputes.

Alexander is a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of New South Wales and is based in Sydney, Australia.
